If this isn’t a review to die for, I don’t know what is!

The Oscar, a film that should ideally be viewed with your head under a hair drier - in or out of a beauty parlor. Otherwise you run the risk of hearing clearly some of the raunchiest dialogue ever to emanate from big screen - with plot and characters to match. - NY Herald Tribune

  1. I just saw this for the first time on TCM and I’m a film collector. Part of the genre of big overwraught 60’s dramas. High-larious!! A Camp-fest. Tony Bennet tried real hard…didn’t he?

  2. I’m convinced that Alec Baldwin based his incredible impersonation of Tony B on him in this film. He MUST own a copy!

Aren’t you obsessed with it now?

  3. I missed probably my first and only chance to come Chez Lethal for one of your bad movie nites. My cousin just left to go back to Temecula (I’m not familiar with the geography but I know it’s closer than where I am right now) and I resisted the temptation to hide in his golf bag.
